Halal dining & prayer-friendly travel
Trusted halal restaurants, itineraries planned around prayer times and mosques for Friday prayer.
Uzbekistan is a Muslim-majority country where halal food is widely available. We reserve trusted halal restaurants, from traditional plov houses to elegant dining rooms, and plan each day around prayer times. On Fridays we arrange visits to historic mosques for Jumu’ah prayer and allow quiet time for worship.
Food is one of the great joys of Uzbekistan: fragrant plov, freshly baked bread from the tandoor, grilled shashlik, samsa and seasonal fruit. We choose restaurants we know well for quality and halal practice, and we are happy to arrange private dining for families or a table with a view of the Registan.
Prayer is part of the rhythm of every day. Our guides and drivers plan sightseeing around prayer times, and many monuments on your route are themselves active mosques. Hotels can provide the qibla direction and prayer mats on request.
