Silk Road Classic: Tashkent, Samarkand & Bukhara

The essential Uzbekistan journey: modern Tashkent, the blue domes of Samarkand and the living old town of Bukhara, linked by fast, comfortable Afrosiyob trains.

7 days · 6 nights

Overview

Silk Road Classic is a 7-day, 6-night private tour of Tashkent, Samarkand and Bukhara, travelling between cities on Afrosiyob high-speed trains. It covers the Registan, Gur-e-Amir, Shah-i-Zinda, the Poi-Kalyan ensemble and Lyabi-Hauz, with handpicked 4-star hotels, private transfers and 24/7 Arabic and English concierge support. Price on request.

If you visit Uzbekistan once, this is the route to take. Three great cities of the Silk Road unfold one after another: Tashkent with its broad avenues and historic Hazrati Imam complex, Samarkand with the Registan and the azure-domed Gur-e-Amir of Amir Temur, and Bukhara, where caravan-era trading domes and madrasas still line the lanes.

Between cities you travel on the Afrosiyob high-speed train — about 2 hours from Tashkent to Samarkand and about 1.5 hours on to Bukhara — so more of your day is spent exploring, not on the road.

Hotels are handpicked 4-star properties close to the old centres, and our bilingual concierge stays with you in Arabic and English around the clock.

What our guests say

“We travelled as a family of five and everything was arranged before we asked. The driver was always on time, the train to Samarkand was comfortable, and our guide planned each day around prayer times. My children still talk about the gondola at Amirsoy.”
AAbdullah A.Riyadh, Saudi Arabia · Premium 4-Star Discovery
“It was my first trip to Central Asia and I felt looked after from the airport onwards. The concierge answered my messages in Arabic late at night, and the hotels were clean and well located. Seeing the Registan lit up in the evening was the highlight for me.”
MMariam K.Dubai, UAE · Premium 4-Star Discovery
“A well-organised trip at a fair price. Our guide knew the history of Samarkand in real depth and never rushed us. They also recommended excellent restaurants for plov and helped us find halal places every day. We are already planning Bukhara and Khiva with them.”
